Söhne is a neo-grotesque sans-serif built for impact. Designed by Kris Sowersby at Klim Type Foundry, it draws on the bold letterforms of NYC subway signage and the poster-like confidence of Akzidenz-Grotesk, refined into a typeface with real weight and authority. Within the ClickHouse brand, Söhne is our display voice: used for large titles, headlines, and attention-grabbing graphics where we need to land a statement with force.

Its tight spacing and robust forms command attention without shouting, ideal for short, aspirational phrases that stay memorable. Söhne brings an industrial precision and cultural heft that matches our brand: technical, bold, and unafraid to stand apart. Söhne is a marketing font only and should not be used within the product. Inter is a hugely popular and incredibly versatile font. Within the ClickHouse brand, it’s used predominantly for body copy. It is often paired with Söhne in both online and offline marketing materials. When used in the product, Inter can serve as both the title and the body copy.
